Y Mind is a no cost, 7-week mental wellness program for teens (13 – 18) and youth (18 – 30) with mild to moderate anxiety.
Y Mind focuses on strategies from Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, mindfulness and self-compassion to help you learn and practice skills to help manage anxiety.
You might be a good fit for Y Mind if:
- you can attend all 7 weekly sessions
- you are willing to participate in a group environment with others who are experiencing similar thoughts and feelings
- you understand and can apply the use of metaphors to learn about and discuss topics related to anxiety and coping skills
- you are open to the experiences and opinions of others, even if they are different from your own
