Chief’s Gala

The annual Chief’s Gala hosted by the Windsor Police Service is an opportunity to recognize outstanding achievement within the Windsor-Essex community over the last year.

This year proceeds from the event will support two local charities.
Camp Brombal
Camp Brombal is a free, four-day summer camp for Grade 6 students in the V.I.P. (Values, Influences and Peers) program who may not otherwise have the opportunity to attend summer camp. Each July, approximately 40 students take part in this unique experience where they make new friends and connect with Windsor Police officers in a positive way. Since 2002, hundreds of campers have made unforgettable memories at Camp Brombal.

Canadian Mental Health Association, Windsor-Essex County Branch (CMHA-WECB)
CMHA-WECB provides community mental health services to individuals aged 18 living with moderate to severe mental illness, as well as primary care for the community. Many of the agency’s programs are unfunded or underfunded, making community support so important.
