Supporting the Glengarry Neighbourhood

The Glengarry neighbourhood has faced challenges with the highest violent crime rate in our city, driven by addiction, mental health struggles, and housing instability. Since August, Windsor Police Service has launched an initiative aimed at reducing crime while creating space for vital support services.

By establishing a physical presence in the community and collaborating with health and human service partners, we’re working to ensure individuals in need can access the help they deserve.

Canadian Mental Health Association – Windsor-Essex in partnership with Windsor Police Services, Family Services Windsor-Essex, Windsor Regional Hospital, Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare, the Crisis Response Team (CRT), and the NPT was pleased to be a part of the community care fair.
