In partnership with the Canadian Mental Health Association Windsor-Essex County Branch (CMHA-WECB), Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare (HDGH) will be relocating programming currently offered at 744 Ouellette Ave., beginning June 17 through to June 21 with a re-opening date of June 24, 2024.

Opened at the height of the pandemic, the Mental Health and Addictions Urgent Crisis Centre (MHAUCC), which supports those in crisis is opening on June 24, 2024, at the NEW location at 1030 Ouellette Ave., adjacent to the Goyeau Street entrance of Windsor Regional Hospital’s Ouellette Campus Emergency Department. This service is intended for those individuals aged 16 years or older who are experiencing a mental health or addictions crisis who cannot safely wait for community mental health and addiction support. Services available at the MHAUCC include:

Offering private office spaces for one-on-one supports, as well as large bright and welcoming group rooms, the new HDGH Downtown Campus located at 500 Ouellette Ave. will offer the following programs:

Within both of these locations, the high-quality, person-centered care that our community and clients have come to know and trust will continue with minimal downtime for clients accessing these services during the relocation. The relocation will occur between the dates of June 17 to June 21. Limited walk-in crisis services will be available at 744 Ouellette Ave. during the transition. As always, the 24-hour, 7-day Crisis Line will remain available by calling 519-973-4435. Individuals experiencing a mental health emergency can also go to the nearest Emergency Department during the relocation. Current clients will be made aware of the closure.
