Healthy Workplace Awards

As a result of COVID-19 and the exceptional efforts of local businesses to keep employees and the public safe, the Healthy Workplace Awards acknowledged the challenges and opportunities associated with safe reopening and operations, while continuing to prioritize public health. Three key areas were highlighted in the awards application criteria for 2020, which included Health and Safety, Mental Health Promotion, and Organizational Social Responsibility during the pandemic. Applicants were required to provide examples of activities or measures that were put in place to support employee and community health, safety, and mental well-being during the COVID-19 pandemic.
