Donate a Car

Donate a Car Canada accepts vehicle donations on behalf of CMHA-WECB.  Free towing is provided in most areas across Canada, or you can drop off your vehicle to maximize your donation. When you donate your car, truck, RV, boat, or motorcycle, it will either be recycled or re-sold (depending on its condition, age and location). Donate a Car Canada will look after all the details to make it easy for CMHA-WECB to benefit. You will receive a tax receipt after your donation has been processed. Learn more by visiting their website.

Comfort Closet

CMHA-WECB provides basic hygiene items and non-perishable food items to clients as part of our Client Assistance Fund Comfort Closet Program. We regularly accept donations of the below items to help us stock the closet. To arrange a donation drop-off, please contact Abbey Lee here.

Planned Giving

Promote mental health and save taxes with gifts of stock, life insurance, annuities, trusts and bequests.

There are many different ways to make a planned gift. Planned gifts can be tailored to your personal and financial circumstances. The most common type of planned gift is a charitable bequest in a person’s Will. However, more and more Canadians are realizing the benefits of giving through methods such as gifts of publicly traded stocks and mutual funds, and life insurance policies.

Please Seek Expert Advice: Canadian Mental Health Association strongly recommends professional advice to ensure that your financial goals are considered, your tax situation reviewed and your planned gift is tailored to your circumstances.
