CMHA celebrates International Women’s Day 2021
Mar 4, 2021
On March 8th, CMHA-WECB joins individuals and organizations around the world in celebrating International Women’s Day (IWD) 2021, an annual event held to mark the social, economic and political achievements of women.
The theme of IWD 2021 is #ChooseToChallenge, which highlights the need to celebrate women’s achievements, raise awareness against bias and take action for equality. IWD 2021 has several missions to help forge a gender equal world including forging inclusive workplaces and empowering women through health education.
Show your support by visiting the International Women’s Day website and sharing your actions for equality on social media with the hashtag #ChooseToChallenge.
