Counselling & Treatment Program for Depression & Anxiety

The Counselling and Treatment program provides one to one counselling and/or treatment and psycho-educational groups for individuals with mild to moderate anxiety and/or depression with the goal of symptom reduction, improved coping and wellness. The type of treatment (individual and/or group), treatment modality (i.e. CBT) as well as number of sessions and length of stay are determined based on the needs of the client. Average length of stay is estimated at 6 to 12 months.
Target Population
Individuals with a diagnosis of mild to moderate Depression and/or Anxiety living in Windsor-Essex County.
Referral Process/Eligibility
Referral information should ideally include the client’s demographic information (name, DOB, address, phone contact) mental health diagnosis, and identified needs (i.e. bio-psycho-social domains). See agency referral form for more information.
Referrals can be made by other community agencies, health care providers. Self-referrals are also accepted.
