This training is now full.
The safeTALK Training for Trainers is a two-day course that prepares local resource persons to be trainers of the safeTALK workshop. New trainers will join a network of over 4,200 active trainers around the world.
The T4T course is the first step toward becoming a registered safeTALK trainer. In the course, attendees learn the content and process of safeTALK and the skills needed to conduct it. The process of becoming a registered safeTALK trainer requires a significant commitment from trainer candidates. The opportunity to provide life-saving suicide alertness skills is well worth the effort.
Before registering, all candidates must have attended the 2-day ASIST workshop within the last 24 months. If you are not yet ASIST trained, please visit our Training page for a list of upcoming training dates.
Please email jalmeida@cmha-wecb.on.ca for an application. Upon successfully completing the application, the candidate will receive a link to the Living Works website to register for the course, and can then make payment via the online form below. Payment should not be made until the candidate has successfully completed these two steps.
